Nosara Paint Ball

What is Paintball?

Paintball is a game that originated in America in the early eighties which involves teams or individual players competing against each to eliminate other players by hitting them with paint-filled pellets fired from a compressed gas powered gun, otherwise known as a marker, and complete game objectives. Paintball games are played on indoor or outdoor fields of varying sizes.

Paintball fields, or game zones, are populated with natural terrain (such as trees, trenches and hills) and artificial obstacles (such as wooden bunkers, barricades and fortresses). Popular game objectives include capture the flag, attack and defend, total annihilation and protect the president amongst many others. Paintball games usually last ten minutes each half but games can go on for hours, or even days depending on the paintball operator.

How do you play paintball?

Imagine a cool game where two teams compete by tagging each other with paint. The goal is to complete tasks quickly, and the winning team is either the first to finish or the one with the most players left. It’s not about “dead” players; they’re just out of the game.

It’s like a battle, but instead of guns, players use markers that shoot paintballs. So, it’s a fun, colorful adventure! It’s like a big, colorful game of tag! Two teams try to tag each other while also reaching a special goal.

Most games take about 3 hours because playing Paintball involves a lot of moving around and excitement.

Games half only last 10 minutes, so if you get tagged early, you can jump right into the next game without waiting too long.

You need at least 6 people to reserve a spot, and we can accommodate groups of up to 50 people.

Once they’re fired, paintballs lose their special coating, and picking them up causes problems. Let’s keep the game awesome!
